A main gate is the first thing visitors see, and it has to work every day. Before you pick a design, it helps to decide a few practical things first.
Start with the opening
Measure the width and height of the opening, and look at the space beside and in front of it. A sliding gate needs clear wall space to one side. A swing gate needs room to open without hitting a car or a step.
Choose the style
Plain panel gates look clean and take less work to make. Decorative and laser-cut patterns add character but take more time and cost more. Bring a photo of a gate you like and we can tell you what can be matched and what should change for your space.
Think about finish
The finish affects how the gate looks and how it ages. Paint, powder coating and other finishes each have different looks and upkeep. Discuss this when you ask for a quote.
Plan the fitting
A well-made gate still needs to be fitted properly. We measure at your site, make the gate to size and fit it ourselves, so the frame, hinges or rollers and the opening all work together.
